Thanks guys, yes, this was a phenominal trip. It turned into more than I could have ever dreamed or wished for, and I really hope that everyone of you who someday make the trips on your own can walk away from it with similiar feelings (I'm very sure you will).

While I think it was just coincidental that he happened to be down there when we were there, Pete is just a regular guy who loves cigars and loves hanging out with people who share his passion, he just happens to make cigars too.

Every trip is different, so I can't say what factories you might see, although I think that Padron and My Father are common stops.

A CA trip would be way cool. I can call John Brooke at DE and sugguest it.

It was totally last minute. I got a call Friday from John Brooke at DE and he told me there was an extra spot on the next trip and wanted to know if I could get it together to fly out to Nicaragua in 4 days. I was lucky to be able to get flights down to Miami on such short notice - had to run the tunnel at ATL to make one of my connecting flights...

You would have had a blast Darrell. Seeing Pepin's joy, seeing Flying Pigs being rolled, grabbing a fresh JdN right off the bench and having someone comment "My Uzi Weighs a Ton" because the cigar was so heavy from all the tobacco, lighting that cigar and on first puff, having the description "power, refined" pop into one's head, shooting the **** with Pete for hours...
