Default In answer to questions

Greetings to you all.

I have been asked by a couple people, "Where have you been, we don't see you often on CA anymore?"

I thought maybe a public answer would save me have to do more replies.

A lot of stuff going on lately has kept me busy: boys on two different football teams (8th grade & JV - also suits up for Varsity); normal life of a pastor which includes the beginning of the educational year; District Pastor's Conference kept me away for 3 days; a Pastor's Retreat for another 4 days; a couple funerals; and when I can get time away, I head up north to get some repair work in.

And, when I do have free time, and other family members are awake, I've been spending it with family.

Not only that, but getting on CA always seems to cause me to slip into CAD (Cigar Aquisition Disorder) or CALD (Cigar Aquisition Lust Disorder). AND as we have purchased this property and have been spending more money than we really should to affect repairs and acuire rudimentary furnishing (we're going with a 21st Century Rustic Rummage Sale look) I have promised myself (and Pauline) that I would not make another cigar purchase until the basic necessities are taken care of. Thankfully, my cigar stock is such that I could smoke a cigar a day for a couple years without having to purchase any.

So, for these reasons, I haven't been as visible here as I had been. And when I am around, I don't read every single thread, nor even as many as I used to.

I do thank those who have asked after my well-being for their concern. All is well!

The CA community is in my thoughts and in my prayers.

And you will see me around. I will check in. I may even check in, forget to close the window or log-out, and appear to be online for hours, which is a sign of another illness I have contracted (CFS - Crainial Flatulent Syndrome).

Peace of the Lord be with you.
