Default Padron Anniversary 1964 - Serial Number Question

So, I got a couple of these as a gift for my bday

I noticed that they both have an individual serial number under the main band, do these serial numbers mean anything, like in regards to age?

I've researched this a bit and found out they were added mainly to stop counterfeiting. But, can't seem to find any information as to what these serial numbers actually indicate, if anything.

Anyone have an idea?

The serial #'s on my 2 cigars are: No. 856238 and No. 856058. I would imagine they were grabbed out of the same box, but obviously not certain, as these were a gift.

Either way I'm excited to light these up, I've heard nothing but great things about these, and padrons in general for that matter.
