Dominicano Coffee Break
Nestor Miranda Cigars
Dominicano Coffee Break Rosado Origin : Dominican Republic Wrapper : Nicaraguan Binder : Nicaraguan Filler : Nicaraguan I picked a couple of these up at a B&M in Pinole CA. They were $4.50 each. I figured they were worth a shot! The construction is near perfect with a dark glossy wrapper. The pre-draw was easy but not too easy. The aroma on the light was aromatic and smelled a lot like coffee with a hint of spice. I paired this with iced coffee. The first 1/4 offered a lot of good coffee and wood flavor with a bitter finish. I didn't mind the bitterness at all. I figured if it remained, no big deal. After the first 1/4 the bitter finish subsided, giving way to a more creamy finish. The coffee and coca flavor really started getting more pronounced. I like a cigar that shows complexity and changes up! After the 1/2 way point I started getting a spicy finish! This was very pleasant with my coffee. This was a very good way to conclude the experience. I would rather end with spice than to start with it. Total smoke time: 1 hour Construction/Appearance: 9 out of 10 Flavor Balance: 9 out of 10 (Nice complexity!) Strength: Medium Over all experience: 9 out of 10 Value: At $4.50 per stick, I would say very good value!
