Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown Queen B
This Arturo Fuente chateau Fuente Sun Grown Queen B is a smaller version of the King B, and I got this from the Dutch importer of Fuente for a review. The price tag in The Netherlands is € 8.50.
The Queen B is a 5½x50 torpedo that comes wrapped in cedar and cellophane. The name of the cigar is printed in gold on the cellophane. The sun grown wrapper is nice and oily and only has some minor veins. The cigar has a nice barnyard aroma, not too strong but also not too faint. The construction feels good and so is the predraw with first some raisin flavor and then a full red pepper taste that even burns a little. This is not what I expected. I get an enjoyable warm coffee flavor with a hint of chocolate. The flavors are quite full and the chocolate has a sweetness to it. After an inch I also taste some herbs and some pepper, but they are only supporting flavors. Halfway the chocolate is the main flavor, the coffee has gone completely. Herbal flavors are supporting the chocolate. The herbs grow stronger. After ⅔ the chocolate grows in strength too and is full flavored. The draw is great and I get plenty of smoke from the cigar. The burn is good, although I had to correct it once. The ash is light colored and quite firm. This cigar, that lasted me for 75 minutes, is full flavored and medium to full bodied. Would I buy this cigar again? Without a doubt, I loved this cigar. Top notch!
