Closing Threads

Whoever it was who closed a thread a bit ago I'd sure like a reason for it since it was a thread that was pretty innocuous and was not causing any issues,,,everybody was civil and it was just a topic that addressed "The Cost of War"

Is this something that is going to continue that threads dissapear without so much as a word? pathetic
