Review: Malfetano
Date: 11/8/09
Cigar: Malfetano (5.5 x 56) Cost: Free. dunng sent me this as a blind cigar tasting. I didn't know what this cigar was until after I smoked it. I am told that this cigar retails for $7.70 Drink: Coke This cigar is made for Azon Cigars in MA. This uses the same wrapper as the Alec Bradley Tempus. Appearance: There were no veins showing. The wrapper is flawless The appearance gets a 10/10 Pre-Light: It had a normal tobacco taste to it. No distinct flavors popped out. Construction: Held an above average ash. The draw was perfect. The cigar did not require many touchups. Taste of the cigar: This cigar is very rich. It had a coffee and chocolate flavor to it. There was no spice present. It had a long finish and the smoke was "chewy". Strength: This is a medium-full bodied cigar. Summary: This cigar pretty good. I might buy these again. I loved the richness of this cigar. I would like to see more spice in it. I give it a 7.9/10. |
