Review: Padilla Limitado
Padilla Limitado
Edicio'n 2006 (6x54) 10-16-2009 This is an attractive deep-black wrapped, firm belicoso with a spicy pre-light aroma. The pre-light draw was good, but I sensed immediate trouble with the lack of good volume of smoke. Perhaps this is an exception, but I'm thankful this cigar is limited. Good volume of smoke is essential, and everything else (flavor, strength, and finish) follows. A little research shows that original release of this cigar (aka obsidian) in 2006 was limited to 50,000 cigars, but apparently the rights to this cigar were purchased by CI and the cigar is now readily available. The burn on this cigar reminds me of the old H2000 wrappers. Chucked to the cigar ash bin.
