Dear Lord, Thank You.

What is the oldest cigar you have ever smoked?
I just had opportunity to burn one that was almost 100 years old.
I wondered if anyone else has ever smoked a really old cigar, what it was, and how old. What'd ya think? I also wondered if anyone had a burning desire to smoke a really old cigar, or if the thought was somehow pleasing to them? I'm interested to hear your thoughts, positive or negative. I can preface this by saying that my favorite cigars are almost exclusively one year old, just out of their sick period, and at their most intense flavor. I'm far too "unrefined" to enjoy the ethereal nuance that Min Ron Nee speaks of, but I'd love to sit with him and experience those things that he's so enraptured by. I've found that everything good I've learned about enjoying a "special" or "different" cigar I've learned from someone who has learned from someone else. I'm sure he (or someone with that sort of experience) could show me what I'm missing and help me enjoy the experience. I look forward to the opportunity to stand by a rolling table someday and fire one up that someone just rolled, because I've never done that. I think that would be a hell of an experience. Anyways... Let me know what you think.
