Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story
Size - 4 x 48
Shape - Perfecto Wrapper - Cameroon Filler - Dom. Rep. Binder - Dom. Rep. This is my very first short story...straight off of the truck. Good looking cigar in an interesting size. The roll was solid but whoever put the band on went crazy with the glue as it was spotted all over the cigar. First third - Great draw. Very smooth with deep flavors right out of the gate. Tobacco, leather, and toasted nuts dominate. Tons of smoke. The wrapper is quite sweet on the lips. Great looking ash and a perfectly even burn. Second third - Intensifying in flavor. Cocoa flavors coming out with a very intense mocha aftertaste. Very enjoyable flavors...deep and complex with just a hint of spice. Last third - Spice is picking up but not becoming overpowering. Flavors still very intense and smooth. The ash finally fell of right at the very end of the smoke. This is really a nice smoke. I know everyone raves about them and I can see why. Smooth and very flavorful. I can't wait to try another after letting them rest a bit. Recommended! |
