L'Atelier Maduro 56
Review # 103
Strength: Full Size: 5 1/2 x 56 Country of Origin: Nicaragua Wrapper Color: Maduro Wrapper Origin: Connecticut Wrapper Leaf Type: Broadleaf Smoked before reviewed, 4 Resting time: 6 months Prelight: Barnyard manure, sweet cedar, honey molasses light woods, cherry and leather 1st 1/3 Burt woody spice, light pepper, deep cedar, honey molasses, light cocoa I would say the strength of the cigar is between medium and medium full and the body of the cigar is around medium full. Draw is perfect 2nd 1/3 The filler tobacco flavors grow bigger now, cedar and oak flavors. The black pepper and spice notes complement the wood and cedar nicely. The finish has a sweet cocoa note and joined by a leathery finish. I really like the flavor profile from the larger ring gauge very enjoyable and balanced by the Connecticut broadleaf. Deep and chewy goodness like I love a good cigar, becoming creamy and smooth with no bitterness Final 1/3 The final third is similar to the first and second third but very enjoyable and complex. There is a slight increase in spice and tobacco notes with the oak, cedar and coffee notes. Cocoa and leather flavors still in the smooth finish. The final draws to the cigar where still cool with great construction and very flavorful. Yes I smoked it down to the nub after this picture If I where to compare the L'Atelier Maduro 56 it would come close to these great cigars…..
