Default Old Tobacco

When I moved to my new home 14 years ago, a box containing some of my tobaccos went missing. After fretting for nearly a year, I forgot about it. Recently we started renovating my house and in the basement found a box containing: a) unopened 50 grams Mclelland's Christmas Cheer (1997)
b) unopened 50 grams Peterson University Flake (1998), c) unopened package of Partagas Picadura Granulata (mid 1970s), d) 3 pounds of Perique(1997), e)various pounds of John B. Hayes house blends(1998).

Other than the Perique (which I had fantasies of blending one day) I am thinking of opening these up and starting on them. So other than making sure of correct humidity. is there anything else I need to look out for with old tobacco, particularly the Partagas cigar tobacco, which is 40 years old.
