Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project Muy Bueso Review
$4. - $6.
Strength: Medium-Full Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf Origin: Honduras 6.5"x60 Prelight: Sweet chocolate, sweet hay, musk 1st 1/3 Creamy smoke, espresso, roasted nuts, earth, salt, bitter chocolate, nutmeg and a spicy-sweetness on the finish . Perfect draw, lots of waterfall smoke falls off big. The torpedo model 6.0"x52 is a dog rocket compared to this Muy Bueso, almost a different cigar. Right off the truck this stick performs wonderfully, the torpedo model will have to go to the kennel for a spell to catch up. I can imagine what the Muy Bueso will be after some time in the humidor. I normally prefer shorter, leaner sticks but the 6.5"x60 is the sweet spot for the Genesis line for me. 2nd 1/3 Perfect burn line and for a large rig size that saying a lot. The aroma is hypnotic in the patio reminding me of the movie The Cincinnati Kid (1965) with Steve McQueen and the smoke filled room. No real changes in the 2nd 1/3 just deeper notes, going full body. Final 1/3 Bitter dark chocolate, oily smooth sweet finish, stayed cool and burned straight continued with no bitterness down to the nub. Cigar reminded me of the MAXX Fix that is another great stick Smoke time: 1hr 45 min Score: 9.5 out of 10
