Default Re: Job you wanted when you were young compared to Today?

I always wanted to be a lawyer that would get a client off due to a loophole then be able to work with people to get it fixed. I thought I could somehow change the world for the better this way. This was my plan until my first year of college.

Then I talked to my dad about it one day and come to find out he had the same ideas growing up. I will never forget the conversation because it was the one and only time in my life that my dad discouraged me from doing something. He kindly explained he had been playing the game for a long time and that it can't be done alone.

So after that, I changed my major 5 times or so and randomly ended up trading currency. I work from home for myself when I want. Sounds like a great gig, but to be honest my life doesn't feel fulfilled. Guess that means I haven't found my calling.
