I kept tasting it as it simmered.....it was coffee jam with a bit of bacon flavor, so I added 1 cup of cranberry/pomegranate juice and let that reduce down. Muchbetter! I think the extra summer time released some bacon flavor as well. It tamed down the coffee flavors as well. __________________
