Dear Lord, Thank You.

Some More of Shane David's Incredible Work.
I needed some help with business cards to go along with the troop support coordinator gig and I'm not very nifty at that sort of stuff. I can get by, and if I put a lot of time and effort in, I can usually photoshop something decent enough, but I wanted something that didn't look completely amateur.
I immediately thought of Shane David. I can't een remember a newb that's come along and made such a huge impact on the face and look of the board as he has. He's truly spruced the whole place up single-handedly. Nor have I seen a new guy who's so willing to share his time and effort so freely and generously. (That's why he's going to be my pick for Nube of the year.) He went right to work and in the span of a morning we worked through a gazillion trials and do-overs, mostly because I'm a big pain in the ass. He knew that before getting involved because he did my avatars for me as well. We never did get back to making a reverse side for the cards, so I just banged that together myself. Altogether, they simply look incredible. They're way beyond what I ever would have expected, and everyone who's seen the finished products have been super impresed, the graphics look spectacular on the Avery photo business cards. Shane refuses any type of payment or compensation for his work, I did my best to talk him into anything, but he flatly refused. He's just an all-around good guy, period. He just wanted to help out with anything he could, and it was especially significant to him that it had to do with our Troop Support effort here. So anyways, here's the work. The text deal with the QR code is the one I did, it's on the reverse side of all the cards. It has the standard infor as well as our Official CA Greeting. Shane did all the ones that required talent. Thank You, my friend. This was truly an outstanding job, I couldn't possibly be more pleased, I couldn't have done it without you, and you were a real life-saver. Here's the cards with a cookie... And here's the original artwork...
