Still Watching My Back

It broke
6 cup glass Bodum finally broke, surprised I had not broke it sooner. Intend replacing and considering going with a non breakable type material but concerned plastic, stainless, etc.. may effect the coffee flavor. Thought I would check and see if member(s) have a thoughts or suggestions.
