TV Woes

I purchased a Panasonic Plasma less than 2 years ago and it is broke allready After doing a little research on line I have found out that this is a very comon problem(bad power supply) The set will not power up it just has a red blinking light in the front thats known as the blinking light of death. After sevral calls to Panasonic customer service the only thing that they will do for me is jive me a phone # to a tv repair shop thats an hour and a half drive away that they may or maynot pay for they tell me that the shop has to evaluate the tv and fax the evaluation to Panasonic and they would make there decision from there. And here is the kicker the shop wont even take the tv without a $250 deposit. I wish they would do the right thing and stand behind there product At this point I am ready to just take a ball bat to it and buy a new set on black friday
