The best answer so far IMO.... Assuming this was a neighbor or the like, I'd probably explain that she just dumped $15 of my money on that cigar and leave it at that.

People are going to make irrational decisions that affect me.... I am going to do my best to try to not make irrational decisions that continue that momentum.
