La Riqueza #3 by Tatuaje Review
La Riqueza by Tatuaje
Vitola: Corona Gorda, 5 5/8 X 46 Blend: Nicaraguan binder and filler Wrapper: Conn. Broadleaf This cigar is made by Don Pepin for Pete Johnson Appearance/Construction: This cigar has a medium brown wrapper, With a well applied triple cap, Overall it is solidly constructed with no soft spots, The cap cuts easy with my xikar, And reveals a beautiful draw with just the right amount of resistance Flavor/ burn: The cigar opens up with woodsy and earthy flavors with slight spice though the nose, The cigar then takes a turn to more chocolately, cocoa flavors, This flavor profile continues thoughout the cigar with nutty flavors appearing thoughout. The cigar produces thick clouds of smoke that is easy to pass through the nose The burn remains straight with no need for touchups or relights. Overall: Overall I find this to be a very enjoyable cigar. It has great balance of flavors and remains medium bodied throughout the cigar. That being said this is one of my favorite cigars and I have gone though about ½ a box since june. Despite becoming more a Cuban Cigar smoker this is one NC that I keep coming back to that never disappoints. The #3 is the only vitola I have had from this line though I do have a Churchill that a member on another forum hooked my up with but I have found the right time to smoke it yet. |
