5 Vegas Classic corona (around 4 yrs. old)
Every once in a while I like to dig through the humis and pull out an old NC that I haven't smoked in a while. Found this cigar in the bottom of a 50 count humi in the bottom of a cooler.
Really great smoke, man. I am super impressed. The only flaw is the draw is a bit tight but I still get a decent amount of smoke. Nice medium body, medium "strength" cigar. Tobacco and spice on the draw and a tart/tangy flavor in the nose exhale and on the finish. An earthy flavor comes in around the halfway point. Razor sharp burn and the ash is almost pure white. Thinking about it, I remember really liking these back when I first got on Cbid. Got a full box and numerous 5 packs. Don't really know why I stopped smoking them. There are so many great cigars out there and new ones popping up all the time that sometimes the "old reliables" get lost in the shuffle. Just smoking this 1 cigar has got me thinking about other cigars that used to be my regular smokes. La Vieja Habana corojo coronas, Indian Tabac Super Fuerte naturals, Oliva G (Grand Cameroon back then)...I just might have to revisit those too.
