My first review: Illusione 4/2g
These are my notes from smoking one of these last night. My palette isn't top notch yet, but I did my best.
Appearance: slight veins, very smooth, great consistent brown color Pre-draw: ceder, light tobacco Light: toast with torch, finish with matches First third: light spice through the nose, light tobacco on the finish, roasted nuts, ash slightly loose but holds ok Second third: spice increases on finish and through nose, leather, toast Last third: strong leather, mild spice, other minor flavors unable to pick out Good smoke. A little expensive for what it was. Would smoke again, possible aging candidate. Not a box purchase, would do singles and 5 packs. Burn mostly self corrected, a few small touch ups. One relight due to the top half going out. Smoke time: 2 hr 15 min with about 2" left I'd love to give the length and ring gauge, but I need to get a hold of one of those nifty card with the holes in it that some people here have.

Thanks for the review!
Those ring gauge tools are cool but, in the meantime, you could probably ballpark it with a ruler since 1 RG = 1/64" (.4 mm). |
