Re: How to buy/trade?
Because of you guys I now have a cooler dedicated to cigars.
75 count humidor did not last long. I need to get a 2 year supply in there so eventually I will only be smoking cigars that have 2 years of age on them. |

Re: How to buy/trade?
I am still in the "I will never need more room than an entire cooler" phase.

Re: How to buy/trade?
Ha, no kidding. Already "just looking at" cabinets. When an unsupecting cabinet wanders on to Craigslist I may have to pounce on it if it is "too good of a deal to pass up"

Re: How to buy/trade?
There is a smoke shop that does little volume by me. Every time I bought a cigar there I could not believe how good it was. I finally realized it was because his lack of volume equalled excellent aging. The last stick I bought was 6 months old according to him and it really makes a big difference.

Re: How to buy/trade?
I never thought I'd need more than a desktop humi either. Thought the same thing when I got my first cooler. I'm going to go buy another "Ice Cube" tomorrow...and that'll make 3....

Re: How to buy/trade?
I have a nice system to 'stay in ONE Vinotemp' I am cram packed full right now, and still buying. But when ever I buy a box, I just bomb co workers or friends here on CA, or give to the tropps stuff that I am just not smoking as much anymore. I figure someday I will get to a point where everything I have is something I really want to keep. The system has lasted me a couple years, but I dont buy a ton of cigars...although I did spot an endtable humidor on craigslist for under $100

Re: How to buy/trade?
This thread makes brings a tear to my eye. I still remember thinking if I had 20-25 decent cigars around that would be more than I would smoke in a year. Then I remember thinking my desktop and vino would be enough. And even now the dark side whispers that if I only had a second Aristocrat my life would be perfect.......

Re: How to buy/trade?
I had a 20 count and had to get another 20 count and had to get a 150 count and lastly added a 300 count. Guess what? They are all full and I have 4 boxes scheduled for delivery today. If you think you need a 20 count you need a 150 count. If you think you need a 50 count you need a 300 count. Always go extremely big! You will run out of room very soon.
