Help! Which one.....
I want to get some cigars to pass out to celebrate the birth of my first grandson (Lucas) and I need some help. He is due in the next couple of weeks so not too much time left (procrastinator, I know). 10-12 would be more than enough and I'm leaning toward something in a glass tube. A tubed cigar would be best to help with keeping them from getting damaged and it's tough to beat the presentation of glass. I'm trying to decide between the ROMEO Y JULIETA VINTAGE and ASHTON. Feel free to offer other suggestions too! Keep in mind that most of these will be given to non smokers (I know, I know) and that glass tubes are important (but not mandatory). Thanks in advance!!!!

AVO tubos, they are metal, but they are a nice cigar flavorful but not over powering for new or infrequent smokers.
Tatuaje make new tubos in the red and black, very cool looking. Davidoff also makes 'Its a Boy/Girl' cigars in tubos.

Corona Cigar does some nice laser engraving on cigars. I have a pair of engraved Partagas Blacks in tubos from a BOTL on another board (one cigar for each of his children). Only thing is, that if you want the date on there, you obviously have to order after the child is born.

Of the choices you mentioned I would go with Ashtons. Light enough for novice smokers but enough quality for a more seasoned smoker to at least appreciate it.

Just to hand out, if money is important, I would get the Romeos. If money doesn't really matter the Avos or Davidoff would be great.
