Default liga pravada #9

Just picked up the last one at my B&m... they've never carried these before but said since they went so quickly they have more boxes on the way.. Whats the general consesus on these? the humi there sits around 73%.. Are you guys smoking these when you pick them up? or letting them rest a bit? Anything i get by mail i of course acclimate before i touch them, but just curious on these.. looks so damn good, but id hate to smoke it to early.

The few I bought I let rest a bit...never smoked one straight from the B&M. Shouldn't be an issue though. Light it up!! Great stick by the way.

I would wait a week or two for it to dry up a little from the 73%... Otherwise they are

I had mixed feelings about this stick... there were times during this that I really liked it and others where I would get weird harsh flavors. I think it was because it was so fresh. I have since bought another one that I'm gonna leave in the humi for a bit to see if it gets a little bit better.

If the rh is that high, I would let it rest for a few weeks. My b&m stays around 65-67% and the customers have noticed and commented that they seem to be enjoying the cigars more when they smoke them at purchase than in years before.

Personally, I think the LP9 is very, very similar to the Mombacho Thermonuclear and the Mombacho is quite a few dollars less and not such a jawbreaker.

Pretty good smoke. Strong. Had one at the B&M (at a much lower RH), and really enjoyed it. It was priced higher than I expected, however.

My B&M had them for $9.99 last that I saw them . Good cigar and the only one from Drew Estate that I will ever say that about . Cut it and test the draw . Then light it up if it's an easy draw . Other wise let it sit a couple days . Enjoy it .

Just got one today in the CRA sampler #1. I won't be smoking it for a while though! I may have to hide the sampler on myself so I can let them sleep for little bit!

At 73%RH the Liga Privada No.9 is going to taste like motor oil and smoke about as well.

Let it rest in a lower humidity environment for awhile, long enough to dry out a bit.

Great frickin' cigar BTW.

Care to take a chance on a reasonable alternative? Smokers have told us these cigars are strikingly similar to Liga Privada #9s at a fraction of the price.
