Cohiba Black Gigante: What's the Story?
I've seen these in my local B+M for $20+ Ick. http://www.rockyscigars.com/catalog....showprevnext=1 Cheaper here, but of course out of stock. Has anyone tried one of these? Has anyone found a decent price on a box of these in the tubos? Thanks in advance fellas. |

The story? Just like all nc Cohiba's, you pay way too much for a very mediocre cigar.

I've had one of these before. Not bad but nothing to write home about. The tubes are cooler than the sticks IMO. Like all cigars though, I suggest you try atleast one before ruling them out (just so you know what you're missing or not missing).

After my first cigar, those got me into cigars. I had one not too long ago, I must say.....not what I remember

I may be in the minority here, but, I really like the Red Dots. I think they are overpriced, but still a good smoke. And that lighter is very nice!

Haven't had the black but a normal red dot and for the price I wasn't impressed.

No thanks if I want a cohiba it'll usually be from another country.

I have a friend who had a fauxhiba on vacation in Mexico and since then he has sworn off any CC's. He loves the red dots and I have offered him many oppurtunities for the real deal, but he will not do it.. More for me!

Damn, a lot of Cohiba NC haters here.
I think I'll pick up the gift box shown once it comes back in stock and post a review. |

That is a pretty sweet lighter! Can't comment on Cohibas, never had a NC or CC version, but maybe I'll have to try them and get the lighter.

Had one of these during the STL herf.
Horrid. Draw was next to impossible, flavor wasn't there...blah. The only positive was it had a very nice ash. |

I think there is a B&M near me that still has a bunch of these. The owner is going to put them special soon. Just waiting for the email. I hope he goes 50% off or better.
