Default Support the Troops / Wounded Vet's / Remember 9/11

Yesterday was an awesome day for me. I was honored to get to participate in handing Rocky Patel's out to many Veterans and Servicemen from our military branches as we held a golf tournament to raise money for wounded soldiers and their families. The day included 2 groups of 100 golfers playing 18 holes, auctions, great food, cigars, helicopter fly by from Macdill Air Force Base and so on. What an amazing day, 9/11, to be active in such a cool tribute to the men and women who fight for our safety and freedom. Again I was honored to participate and even left with a momento to remember it by. This was given to me by a 3 Star General...

Sounds like an awesome event Jaime. I am constantly surprised at the support the cigar community has for all of our service men and women.

I should have got with you guys about cigars for our event next weekend. I work with Project Healing Waters. We are taking 10 wounded soldiers out all next weekend for fly fishing instruction and fishing as well as general bonding.
