Default What do you do with your empty cigar boxes?

I am moving out of home at the moment and noticed I had a big pile of beautiful empty cigar boxes just sitting in the corner.

Cigar boxes are often beautiful things. So what do you do with yours once it is not being used for storing cigars?

I have one Oliva MB1 box that I use for storing small items like a nailcutter, pencils etc on my coffee table. All other boxes go to my dad, he is a D.I.Y. handyman and uses the boxes to store screws, nails etc.

If I ever get my cigar room I plan on using some for wall art and maybe make a coffee table top (where the glass would go) out of the lids.

My sister turns them into purses and gives them out as gifts. But I bet if she put them up on E-bay she could make some nice money on them.

That seems like a great idea... Wish I had a workshop. I really miss projects...

Mine are mostly used for storing cigar bands. I've got boxes and boxes of them. My son has several that he puts stuff in, baseball cards, money, etc. I also have a lot of empty ones that are just all over the place. I really need to get that under control.

I save my CAO boxes especially. Gonna put them on some kind of display whenever I get the bar done.

Most just sit there , waiting for a need . Some have become pencil boxes for my girls at school , some have cigar stuff in them , some have woodworking tools in them . One has cigar bands in it . My kids have a couple with their stuff in them . Someday I'll come up with a great idea for them , that coffee table idea has triggered some ideas .

yeah, I have some lying around but I guess I end up giving most of them away to people. Otherwise, I would have a lot more lying around.

I wish I had half the creativity you have to do something like that. Very cool design.

Combo of C & D. I've had one box for almost 15 years that I've used to store stubs from ticket concerts, sporting events and movies. Kinda cool to dig thru there every several years and see where I've been. I use some boxes to store cigar bands. Others just sit there. I can't bring myself to throw them away.

A combination of Give them away, Store other items in them and Nothing - they just sit there (stacked around the room). Additionally, I reuse them in my Vinotemp to store other cigars that I purchased in bundles, fivers or singles.
