I am just thankful that my kids are into Good Music! It was actually her idea to go, I personally am too old for concerts I dont like crowds.

I think I am going to be 36...I started early ....actually I was seduced by a younger woman who claimed to be older.... (now my wife) but I think it was a good idea...get them out of the house so I can retire early!

Reminds me of when I was that age. I think my first concert was when I was 12 or 13 as well. My dad took me to see Styx and REO Speedwagon. Good times.
ZZ Top and Aerosmith would be a great concert as well. You'll have a great time. |

I have seen Aerosmith probably 9-10 times...great shows for the most part.
And I saw ZZTop once, and all I can say is..."A haw haw haw....".

Awesome...she will have a blast. Glad to hear you are taking her to a real concert not the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus or some dumb ****!

Re: My 12 yr old daughters first concert will be .
For me the year was 1977. Doobie Brothers was the band. Opening song was China Grove. I was about 3 rows from the stage. A night I will never forget. And the pot cloud in that arena was the biggest I have ever experienced. . Friggin awsome!!
With those two bands it will be a night she will never forget for sure. |

One of these days I need to tell you guys the story of the Clapton concert I started back in 1974 - no $#!+.
Hope your daughter has a great time. Never been much into Aerosmith, but ZZ Top rocks. Saw them outdoors with Mahavishnu Orchestra and Allman Bros once. |
