I have smoked several of the Taboo Sumatra. Most of them were quite good. I did have some minor burn issues with a couple though.

Cigars International usually has them as well as most online vendors that carry the EO Brands like 601.

I thought those were discontinued as well. I may be wrong, but I think I heard that somewhere.

I believe some of the LFD lines use an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper.

Last time I was at JR, they had some specials on the HdM Dark Sumatra. I picked up an 8-stick sampler for $20.

Everyone keeps talking about the Edge Sumatra and this also gets my vote

BUT, there's also the Rocky Patel Renaissance, this has an Ecuadorian SG Sumatra wrapper and is somewhat similar to the Edge Sumatra flavor profile! Check them out, they are quite good!

This thread got me thinking (which is dangerous), so I am outside enjoying a HdM Dark Sumatra corona right now. Pretty tasty, good burn line.

my local has a huge floor chest full of the RP Edge Sumatras. i think he has them at $5.50 singles and must have hundreds of them. i snapped a pic on my blackberry the other day, but i have no clue how to post it ( i could send it to someone to post).

they have them in toros and torps.

pm me if you need any details, or could post the pic if i fowarded it to you.

thanks

^^^ Neet promo idea. FWIW I think $5.50 is too much for these cigars.
I like them and they are a good smoke, I just find that the competition at the $5.50 price point is head and shoulders above the RP Sumatra.
