Default Circulation Fans: Do You Use One?

I'm curious to know who among you use an in-humidor circulation fan of some sort to maintain proper ventilation and RH in your box. I tried one of those Xikar units, but they just didn't seem to be well made. Wondering if it's worth making some home-spun solution, or if I'm over-thinking this.

Your thoughts?

My Aristocrat from Bob Staebell came with 4 small circulation fans inside the cabinet. They're mounted near the top and in the middle, as the humidifiers at the bottom have their own fans as well.

I've seen fans on Amazon and wonder about replacing my older ones with these?

How big of a box are you talking? When I had my tower humidor, I did when I ran active humidifier. Once I switched to beads, I took the fans out.

I have a humidity thing in humi. No water, just using Michael’s beads. It’s on a smart switch so it runs about two hours to circulate air. Never heard the thing run so I don’t know if it works or not

I used to have some fans because I thought it was fun to have air flowing around, but ultimately my humis are too small to really need it so I pulled the fans out years ago. My approach of just using double the beads necessary and occasionally spraying the inside of the doors/lids when the RH drops has worked perfectly

I'm full, so no room for fans. Do try and rotate occasionally due to 2-3% RH variance.

Never. It's better the let them "stew in their own brew", imo.
