Default Dallas area cigar friendly?

I am going to be in Dallas TX. Late March or early April. I would like to find a cigar lounge or cigar friendly bar to hang out at in the evenings. Any suggestions? Thanks

Two Brothers is just north of Dallas in Plano. Very nice lounge with a plasma, walk-in humidor, and great staff.

Depends on where you are going to be staying at. Dallas Proper just passed an anti-smoking measure that is aimed towards the bars/clubs/restaurant more so than tobacco shops. There are a few exceptions (Javiers, Havana Club), but for the most part you won't be able to go to a local bar and light up a good cigar. This measure doesn't necessarily extend to some of the suburbs, but some of them have been going smoke free as well.

There are quite a few tobacco shops through out the area that have lounges and allow for bring your own. Knowing where you are and if you can get around would help for recommendations. Two Brothers is nice, but way too far for me to visit with any frequency. I tend to stay in the Irving and Fort Worth areas. Drop me a line and let's see if we can get a welcome herf together for you.

There is Addison Cigar on Addison and Cigar Shop & More on Belt Line. Since you're staying in Addison both of these will be very close. Both are fairly nice places. I live in Addison so give me a heads up and I'll try to welcome you to the area. I'm new to the area but I think Addison is still smoking friendly. At least the last time I was at Sherlocks on Belt Line there were people smoking cigars.

Hey Ricky,
Thanks for the offer and the info. I will be available most evenings while in the Dallas area. Are the places you mentioned open in the evening? I could meet with you about any evening. Any other Dallas BOTL interested in hooking up for a smoke?

I will arrive on 3/29 and leave on 4/3. So, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday would be good.

The name is Justin. As far as evenings, I'm not sure how late the B&M's are open. I'll do some research and get back to you.

Don't worry about it. I was just giving you a hard time. I wish I could tell you the best places to go but with a 8 month old at home I don't have many opportunities to get out.

I had a house stick from Addison and it was really good. I would pick a couple up if I were you.

Are you talking about Addison Cigar? If so, I think those are from Patel. I was going to say blended by Patel but we all know he's a business man not a blender.

That would be the place. I can't remember who gifted it to me, but I was really impressed

I was in Dallas downtown last week and there was a bar around the corner from our hotel called 'Ten' that was cigar friendly. They even had a cutter on the bar. I was not a bad place but we traveled in a group as 2am in downtown Dallas is kind of scary. Meet a nice fellow who was smoking a Monte #2.

I'm free any night next week. I'll call around to some of the local B&M's and see what there hours are. If they close early we'll find a bar to smoke at.

If he looks in the secret compartment there may be a special smoke of three in there for him.

TON is an understatement. Addison is like a college town. Nothing but bars, restaurants, and apartments.
