JR has been skipable for me when checking for deals. Prices are generally ho-hum, and they've sent me moldy cigars twice.

Yes, I have been there. They have a very nice selection, but I like the prices at TPS better

They're one of the few places I know of that sell the ERDM Flor de Llaneza. I've been buying those from Lew since the early 90s. I also visit the Paramus store sometimes when I go see the folks.

If they have a name brand you after, then it's all the same. Their own labeled cigar are horrible.

I'm on their e-mail list and occasionally bid in the Dutch Auction, but otherwise shop at CI. No complaints about the purchases I have done at JR, though.

I live directly between their Statesville and Burlington stores, and drive past them every few weeks for work. That has been a terrible development in my budgeting. Last week picked up 3 boxes in Statesville, after forcing myself out the door empty-handed in Burlington the week before.

No will power. *sigh*

I love JR's. Their prices are ridiculous and the JR alternative house brand bundles are damn tasty. The only thing I order from them anymore are the alternatives. If you just want a mild and delicious yard 'gar, they're near unbeatable in my opinion. Other than that though, I don't have much use for JR since they don't carry Padron or most other small boutique brands, DPG, etc.
