C-Bid Accessory Re-sellers?
I'm finding lots of accessories sold on the Devil Site being resold on E-Bay.
I certainly don't have a problem with someone making a living, but it seems a little piggy that they try to buy up full lots of merchandise meant for individual cigar smokers. The reason it frosts my backside is I put together and donate my accessory purchases to a golf tournament that raises funds for Fischer House. (Wounded vets and their families.) I typically make a half dozen each of travel and desktop humis with other goodies. These help to collect a good amount of dough for a great cause. I'm irritated because I could donate more (to raise more) but I have to outbid these guys on cutters, lighters, cases and humidification devices..etc. So I guess I have one point and one question. Point: You may be better off buying accessories at auction (like these guys) than from E-bay. Question: Should I care? Or am just getting old and crabby? Thanks for letting me vent.

Re: C-Bid Accessory Re-sellers?
I can sympathize as it can certainly be annoying, but I have to acknowledge that they are really free to do what they want and there are no valid reasons I can see for CBid to prevent the practice.
Have you tried contacting someone at customer service with an explanation of what you are doing and copies of the Fischer House 401c paperwork? They might be able to help you out with discounted direct sale. |
