Help with Dr Garbow
I just bought a Dr Garbow omega on a whim. Went to remove the stem and it seems to be fixed. Is it removable? I've never encountered a NON removable stem. But this thing is TIGHT!

Re: Help with Dr Garbow
The last Dr. Grabow I had was 40+ years ago, so I'm no expert. But always thought their point was that the stem pulled out so that you could replace the filters in them. A quick check on Pipes&Cigars shows they still sell packs of filters, so I'd assume that still applies.
Yet I don't know for sure, so don't force anything then blame me if $#!+ breaks.

Re: Help with Dr Garbow
Try smoking a bowl and then try to take the stem off. but I wouldn't recommend doing it too many times cause it can mess up the fit of the stem.

The stem is removable Andrew. I agree with Andrew. I'd smoke at least three and give it a gentle try upon finishing the third bowl...

Re: Help with Dr Garbow
Thank you guys, I finally got it undone. I put it in a zip lock and placed it in the freezer over night. Came apart with very little effort in the morning.
