I do it but more because I tend to forget what all is in there. When I move stuff around I find old forgotten gems.

I do it every few months. Don't sweat it if I don't get around to it.

I find if I don't "roll" my cigars around every now and then (put the bottom of the cigar to the top), I find that I get a poor burn. Like the humidity settles towards the down side of the cigars, and that side, being moister, burns slower, causing an uneven burn. If I roll the cigars every few months, that burn issue hardly happens.

As to moving them different locations, I usually only do that if I'm trying to fit something else in one of the drawers, and need to re-arrange some to accomplish that.

used to shuffle boxes around trying to make more room in the humi.
this is about the only reason I can think of to "rotate" cigars.

Did you mean rotating them longitudinally or, did you mean the normal need to realign them with respect to the Earth's magnetosphere?

I say no " look at vendors in Europe that have aged cigars for 20 to 30 years in the org. box" Cigars are best left alone to do what they do best AGE and bloom. I guess I could see if you have a small desk top humi with 50 sticks in it and had lots of extra time on your hands then thats fine

I do it once a twice a year for what SvilleKid had mentioned. I dont think it makes a huge difference but it's a fun way/reason to wipe down my humidors, and look over my entire inventory!

The trick is where you sit, you always get someone who shall remain nameless that slobbers all over the stick before it get's to you. Now I like my stick getting slobbered on as much as the next guy, just not when you're talking about a puff puff pass.

I have only two 100x desktop humis, so same here, when making room for new arrivals.

Unlike some, I admit to constantly rotating my cigars - about the sun.

When I play humidor archaeology, they may or may not get rotated, but the sun thing still holds. And centrifugal forces help the air circulation, or so I am told.
