The dog in the jungle

A lost dog strayed into a jungle. A lion saw this from a distance and said "That guy looks edible...but I've never seen his kind before...I wonder what he tastes like..."

The lion started to charge towards the dog with a menacing look. The dog noticed this and began to panic, but as he started to run he saw some bones lying next to him. He got an idea and said loudly "Mmm...that was some good lion meat!" The lion abruptly stopped and said "Woah! This guy must be tougher than he looks! I should leave while I can!"

There was a monkey watching from a nearby tree top. The monkey realized that he could benefit from this situation by telling the lion and getting something in return. So the monkey told the lion what REALLY happened. The lion said angrily "Get on my back, we'll go take care of him together!"

The dog saw the monkey riding on top of the charging lion and began to panic. He came up with another idea and shouted "Where the hell is that monkey! I told him to bring me another lion over an hour ago!"
