It's really tough from what I understand to get a concealed in Maryland. And they don't reciprocate at all.

A few years ago I got a speeding ticket where I actually had to go to court over.

Prior to going to court I went online and took one of those driver courses. When I got to court the Judge asked the officer if I was polite. The officer told him that I was extremely polite and courteous. So the Judge said that due to the fact that I took the online course and was polite and courteous he was going to drop the charges and I just pay the court costs ($65 I think it was). Said he didn't want to ruin my perfect driving record.

So - you may get a ticket, but being courteous can and does pay out in the end.

LOL,I received a warning on Wednesday too. Before he walked away I told him my boy is a Deputy and nephew is in his departments academy.
He said "you should have told me from the start",then remembered he only gave me a warning.
It was a good day

Enjoyed the story

If I don't speed I don't get tickets it helps that my work van can't go past the limit anyway

I'd just like to say that every speeding ticket that I ever received, I deserved. There have been many, many times when I could have received an expensive high speed driving award but did not.

Officers have discretion within certain bounds. Whether you benefit or not, it never hurts to be nice to the officer, or anyone for that matter.
