Let us Know how they end up... Almost wish I was in Charlotte to get my hands on a few but a 3.5 hour drive for some cigars is a bit of a hassle...

Hope you enjoy...

Yea I thought it was an exclusive of theirs... I am typically really skeptical of dealing with new websites until I hear from someone else that they are good... anyone ever do business with Outland Cigars?

Actually looking forward to this one. Not a big fan of the 60 ring gauge cigars but the Muwat was enjoyable in that vitola and if it's the same blend should be even better in a corona size.

I deal with them locally all the time. Seem to be a solid bunch of guys. If you order online and it doesn't go well I'll be at the piss out of the smallest one for you.

Yea Craig? well now that a member has vouched for the establishment those concerns are laid to rest...

Guess I'll grab a bundle as well...

and honestly it was less of a concern about receiving the product as it was more a concern of shipping quality... When I was a noob, I ordered a lot from Thompson's, ordered great sticks that tasted horrible... Left a bad taste in my mouth both literally and figuratively that makes me want to double check the reputations of the establishments I order from... As said before, Thanks for laying those concerns to rest...

So back to topic... New vitola, Yay or Nay?

I'm super intrigued, and I'm tempted to purchase the 10 pack of 'em.. Although, I look at these as most likely going to be regular production. So, I won't pull the trigger right now -- I'll wait until the income tax comes in.

If I pick up two bundles and if I can get my stuff together here at work I will try and send out a few singles for some of you fellas. I got a daughters birthday coming up and not sure how much I am going to have to spend but we will see on Friday...

I smoked the test blend and a few of the production sticks so far. The test blend started great but fell flat about mid way which I did not experience with the regular production sticks as they were consistent all the way through which I think the test blend just needed more age. JD will be here in Charlotte for the launch tomorrow night (1/25). Right now it is a retailer exclusive. As far as the stick goes it is currently the strongest MUWAT to date and sits around the medium to full range. Great flavor and great aroma. I held back reviewing it after smoking the test blend due to it falling flat and I didn't want to beat up a stick that clearly needed to age a little longer. If you guys like Baitfish you will love the Digital Son especially if you smoke the Baitfish wishing it had a little more oomph and the size is great!

Craig, I will keep an eye out for you. If your there ask guys where Partlow is and they should point you in the right direction. Would love to meet a fellow Asylum member and I plan on being there pretty much all night. JD events are always fun.
