Default Gauging Interest in Another Fantasy Football League

I know we have a couple going in the Asylum already, but my other league fell through.

I am thinking a buy-in of 10 CCs (no NCs). We usually do mid-range cigars in the $4-10 range (no sale sticks). Cigars should be in good shape and preferably have date codes.

The prize pool would look like:

1st place - 45 cigars
2nd place - 20 cigars
3rd place - 10 cigars

Then 5 cigars per position total winner (QB, RB, WR, TE, Total Points)

This gives people the incentive to play throughout the season even if they get off to a slow start as they can still win a position total. It also adds some strategy to making trades.

I am looking at a 10 team league. I will copy the rules for discussion if enough people are interested. It would be an ESPN league and with playoff seedings based on Wins and Points, not divisions. So we would be doing the playoffs manually in the system. They would lock at the beginning of the playoffs in a bracket format (so not like real football where the highest seed always plays the lowest seed).

I would even play in an 8 team league if we can get the interest in the next day or two. I have no problem combining, but I wanted to keep this to CCs only.

We can also go with a straight 5-6 cigar buy-in and not play the position totals as well. Just a straight forward league with the top 3 ending up with some cigars.

Bumping this up in desperation I guess. I still feel like there is an opportunity, regardless of the cigars of choice.
