Default Padron Problem?

I received four Padron 1926 series 80th anniversary maduros today that I ordered over the weekend. I splurged on these for a friend's homecoming from Qatar in a few days.

However when I got them out to put them into the humidor I noticed something that wasn't right.

Sorry for the blurry pic. There is no focus on my phone, but the second band clearly says 40 years instead of 80 years while the top band clearly says 1926. Have I been taken for a ride?

Easy way other than the band is to note the shape of the cigar.

The 40th is a pyramid.
The 80th is a Salomon like cigar, tapered at both ends.

If yours is a pyramid, you have a 40th, which is still awesome, but not what you ordered or paid for.

I'd just ask for a refund of the difference... they are very good sticks as well!

I've got a Padron problem as well...opened up the humi and there's none left.

That's still an awesome smoke to celebrate your buddy's homecoming. If you don't want to go through the return process just ask the retailer for a credit for the difference and free shipping on your next order.

Enjoy the celebration.

I'm keeping these per your suggestions. The company graciously said they would fix this anyway I chose. So they will refund the difference!

Smoke the 40th.
Enjoy it as I know you will.
Then order the 80th again.
