A Cigar = 42
|
San Cristobal
I just finished my first one while standing outside in the freezing cold of the Ohio tundra and I couldn't put it down. A beautiful cigar, from the band to the smoke. Although I won't be buying a box of these until after the holidays, it will give me something to really look forward to. Nice job Ashton! You have a real winner with this stick!

Really, really old

Oliva Special S, every time that I treat myself to one of these, I wish that I could hit the lottery and buy out the remaining stock of all sizes.

Still Watching My Back
|
A couple of weeks ago I had my first Cabaiguan Guapo 46. Since then I've smoked about 4 or 5 of them. Just love that smooth spice; I think I'll have another one tomorrow.

Busy doing nothing

I was pleasantly keelhauled by a Taboo Dominican maduro robusto.
Got tastier and more complex with each puff. Wish it was made in a toro or torpedo.

Old Man Herfer

Travelling a couple weeks ago toward the western part of NC, I screwed up by not bringing sticks with me. I was well past JR's on I40 ...so, I stopped off at a BP Station, got a cup of coffee (first mistake) that poured like warm tar. The second mistake was asking for a white owl cigar. After a littany of flavors that the clerk rattled off....I said I just want a reguar cigar! She gave me an unflavored stick. As I headed westbound, again, I lit up and knew IMMEDIATELY what an idiot I was!
Therefore, I have to say, WOW, what the hell was I thinking???

Thought I'd revive this thread.
Most recent cigar that "wow"ed me was a Taboo Toro Twist from 3/2008. I had it yesterday afternoon while golfing. I like how these have aged. Wish I had a few more of them

Any of the couple dozen I tasted/smoked yesterday at the SoCal XIII pre-herf. Holy crap. There were some crazy cigars being smoked.
