AL: Granderson isn't hitting for high enough average, but Cano has come on real strong lately. Does Verlander even garner votes being a pitcher? Do Gonzalez and Elsbury cancel each other out? Michael Young has got to be given some consideration.

PHILLIES clinch 5th straight NL East crown!!....Great locker room scene....players waited til Hunter Pence came in the surrounded him with a champagne bath!!...fun to watch!!

You don't get it, Dom. See, they print up those shirts and caps before the fact, since they have to have them handy. When a team loses, the merchandise is normally shipped off as a charitable contribution to some Third World location . . . like Philadelphia.
