Diet Coke?
Everyone knows the magic that happens when you take Jack Daniels and complement it with some Coke. But does anyone know anything that creates magic when mixed with Diet Coke?
I just acquired a huge lot of Diet Coke for free... Hate it by itself, so i'm wondering if there is something I can mix with it. |

Re: Diet Coke?
I have a pal who swears by Captain Morgan's and diet coke. I tried it once and liked it.

Re: Diet Coke?
A clear rum, mint and lime - a diet coke mojito if you will. If you like things really rich you could use something like Meyers Dark.
Long Island iced tea, since there is so little soda in it, it's just for color, most people would never notice. Back story on that one... had a friend years ago who worked as a bartender in a busy night club, the bar guns were set up in such a way that to hit sweet & sour and Coke was clumsy and would require two fingers, but S&S and diet coke were next to each other and you could easily hit them with your thumb. He never had a drink come back, a complaint or anyone not order another round of them. You could also cover it up with a splash of Grand Marnier, Rose's Lime, Grenadine or the like. |

Re: Diet Coke?
Diet cokes a killer.... But so is everything else. I can't handle the calories in regular coke. I wish it tasted the same as regular coke.

Re: Diet Coke?
TBH, I have been drinking a lot of Coke Zero lately. The stuff tastes the same as regular coke with none of the bad things.

Re: Diet Coke?
I never drink diet but if the same rules apply as regular.
Nothing wrong with a splash of coke in a tall glass of Gentleman Jack. Also try Patron Cafe, that stuff with coke and a fresh lime is quite tasty. I believe that recipe is in the Patron Cafe mini recipe book or whatever hooked on the bottle. If you don't know the cafe is a coffee + tequila liquor from Patron. Quite possible one of the best ideas in a good bit.

Re: Diet Coke?
Yes...love that Patron Cafe. Erin will even drink it straight! We've gone through a few bottles of it since we first saw it at the Costco liquor store.

Re: Diet Coke?
I love me some Patron Cafe!!! It tastes like Expresso smells. Unreal. No need to mix it with Coke or Diet Coke if you ask me. Just tip it back and find a nice cigar to pair it with.
For the OP, I can't offer much.
