Default Aging special event NC cigars

First off this is not another thread of how well or poorly NC age so please try to keep it on topic.

I have been thinking and say there is a very special event in your life and you would like to buy a box to smoke one stick every year on the date of the event. What would you buy? What would your budget box and money is not an issue box be?

For me it would be...
Budget box - Famous nic 3k
No budget box - Tat Black Jar

Something from Davidoff or Fuente like Opus or Don Carlos. A really strong tannic Nicaraguan cigar like Joya de Nicaragua would be interesting with some age.

Not sure about long term, but I've found Pepin's Blue Labels to improve with a few years on them. Same with maduro Chisels.

I have a box of San Cristiobl Supremo that I have been aging since Oct-2007. My son was born in Nov-2007 & I was going to hand them out but quickly changed my mind. So they have just been sitting in my big cabinet humidor for the last 3 1/2 years. This will be the FIRST cigar I will smoke with my son when he turns 18...

That right there is what I am talking about. Have you been smoking one every year?

Budget Box: CAO Black

Never had a special event cigar... so can't really comment there. But the CAO Black is probably the cigar I have smoked the most of. They are just so smooth, I wonder what age would do to them...

Budget box - no idea, maybe regular Opus X Lanceros.... Whatever it would be, definitely lanceros. My father Lanceros? Maybe Oliva V lanceros?

no budget box - Opus X Lost City Lanceros. Never had them but they are lanceros and Opus X generally age well for an NC.

So, lanceros then?

to the above two posts.

Budget box, IDK.

No budget box, Opus X Forbidden X Toros. I actually have just a few of these in the humi. I gave one up in a blind sampler, smoked one the day I walked for my AA, and planned to smoke the other ones on future graduation days. They may not last that long, but they may. I'm really just saving them for milestones.

I have a box of Kristoff Ligero Maduro Matadors that I bought to smoke on my son's birthdays. I'll smoke one with him for his 18th, then the last when I kick him out...
