Sometimes good people do bad things. Sometimes good people find themselves in situations that they can't control. Sometimes good people can't do the right thing because of personal difficulties, even if they want too. Maybe this brother isn't well, he's said he'd make it right. He should get the benefit of the doubt for a while.

He told me a month ago he had been hospitalized, Jeff. He also told me he would have them out in a week. Two weeks later, he said he would have them out that week. His "benefit of the doubt" is starting to run low.

I just don't believe he has any plans on making good on this. He could have contacted Icehog3 or better yet, Acarr and myself. To let us know the deal. I think he is just another scammer, if he makes good I will retract that statement, but at this point it doesn't appear likely.

It is a shame because we can ban him from the Asylum for not making good, but that won't help Bobby or Andrew get their stuff. It is inevitable though if he continues to ignore his obligations.

I appreciate your help. The thing that bugs me about this, is not the money, its the scammer who came and sullied "our board" (Actually the ToE's, but you know what I mean) and tried to wreck the good vibe here. By taking advantage of the kindness between members here.

I still love this place.

Just to clarify, Bobby.

It IS your board. Without the membership making it what it is, CA would just be 11 FOGs hangin' out.

And no matter what we do, there will always be those who will take advantage of others. We can only try to minimize it.

I just found this thread and I have also been taken by "parafumar" I have sent many emails and messages to him but I have not heard back from him since a few days after I send the money to him.

Me too, its been over a month and a half since i paid for them so what can a man do but smoke another cigar and write it off as a lesson learned, an almost $400 dollar lesson though. It's more about the principal than the money though.
