Before I completely dismissed it for quite a number of different reasons, I was curious as to what the BTU ratings and cost would be on this heap of techno trash. Problem is, it doesn't seem to exist. Supposedly, it's only a concept right now, although there is no company or individual name attached to it. For all I know, it might be a hoax.
If it ever were to become real, I'm certain that I would still much rather have a Viking or Wolf gas range. I did find these two images on gizmodo that were kind of funny though: Tragic accident in early testing... Doubles as a play surface for board games... (risk? stratego?) |

In the event that the "custom signature technology" written under the name "the william" at the end of the video was the name of a company and not a reference to how the cooktop itself uses custom pot/pan sizing (signatures) of the heating elements when in operation, I finished searching on it too. Zip. Nada.
