Cigar Caddy vs. Herf-a-dor vs. X-Treme Case
Hi guys and gals:
I have fallen into the trap/habit of calling all plastic cigar cases "Cigar Caddy." I have seen similar products marketed with the Xikar name, and also under the brand names "Herf-a-dor," and X-treme case. Are all of these separate companies, or are they all pretty much the same thing, just with different branding? Any suggestions as to which brand is "the best?" (I know that is awfully subjective, just asking for honest opinions, or if anybody has horror stories of, for example, the Xikar ones falling apart, or something like that)

I don't know about all the other brands, but I have a cigar caddy, and it is very similar to the Pelican cases. I am not saying anything bad about it, as it is a very good case, but I don't see any difference in the two brands.

the cigar caddy 2,5,10, and 15 are made by Otterbox.
Xikar and Herf a dor are manufactured by another company. so same cases with different names. |
