Thermoelectric

I would very much like to make a cabinet humidor but seeing as how I live in a warmer climate I need to be able to regulate temp. Does anybody have any experience of making a thermoelectic unit for their humidor.

I know about peltier modules but are they big enough to cool a end table sized humidor? Thanks in advance.
