Default Winston Churchill 'Chequers'

This stick was given to me by a friend. I've heard of the brand but had never smoked one. So I looked them up.

$338 for a box of 25?!?!?! I knew there was a reason I had never smoked one.

Anyway, nice enough cigar. Draw is a bit tight but not bothersome. Nice flavors, tangy spice in the nostrils and a floral finish.

About halfway, a cedar flavor comes in and the floral on the finish gets a little stronger. Medium "strength" with a lingering finish. Nice smoke so far.

Meh...a little past halfway and a bit of ammonia is creeping in. I'm not going to purge, because I can tell the cigar was too moist to smoke. I let it go out.

Would I smoke another one? Sure, next time somebody gives me one!
